studio, Electric Ladyland, at 52 West 8th Street, New York.

girlfriend, is born in Derby, England.
18th) - 1967: The Experience plays the Monterey
Festival. This performance establishes him as a major rock force in
America.
19th) - 1967: "Purple Haze" is released as a single in
U.S.
20th) - 1967: The Experience begins a six night
run at the Fillmore West in San Francisco. The Jefferson Airplane
are headlining
21st) - 1967: After the previous nights performance, The
Jefferson Airplane pull out of the remainng shows at the filmore west,
not wanting to follow The Experience
22nd) - 1970: The Woodstock movie premiers in Leicester
Square, London.

"I Just Want To Make Love To You" at Electric Ladyland.
25th) - 1967: The Experience gives a free show from
the back of a truck in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
